How to Install the Swing-Out Rack Frame
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Swing-Out Rack Frame in an enclosure.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Drill, Torque wrench
Supplies needed:
Flat-head screws with sealing washers, Hex-head screws, Lockwashers, Square nuts, Pan-head screws, Bumper brackets
- Open the enclosure
Open the enclosure door to access the internal components.
- Remove the door
Pull the hinge pins to the outermost retained position to detach the door from the enclosure.
- Attach body hinges
Using flat-head screws with sealing washers, attach the body hinges and swing-out frame hinges to the enclosure. Torque the screws to 22 in-lbs (2.5 Nm).
- Assemble latches
Assemble the latches to the latch brackets with latch stops positioned at 12 O’Clock and 3 O’Clock.
- Attach latch brackets
Secure the latch brackets to the swing-out frame assembly using two hex-head screws, lockwashers, and square nuts. Torque to 50 in-lbs (5.6 Nm).
- Drill center-punch marks
Drill the center-punch marks on the latch side of the enclosure to a diameter of .203 inch (5mm), drilling only the two outer marks if there are three sets.
- Insert bumpers
Insert a bumper into each bumper bracket as shown in the installation diagram.
- Attach bumper brackets
Orient the bumper brackets with bumpers facing outside the enclosure and attach using two pan-head screws and two sealing washers each. Torque to 22 in-lbs (2.5 Nm).
- Assemble arms
Attach the arms to the swing-out frame assembly using two hex-head screws, lockwashers, and square nuts. Torque to 50 in-lbs (5.6 Nm).
- Insert detent hinge pin
Align the arms of the swing-out frame assembly with the swing-out frame hinges and insert one detent hinge pin, ensuring the rings are oriented toward the center of the enclosure.
- Secure the swing-out frame
Secure the swing-out frame in position by rotating the latches to engage the bumper brackets.
- Reassemble the enclosure door
Reattach the enclosure door to complete the installation.
