The nVent HOFFMAN ZonEx ATEX/IECEx-certified Type 4X enclosure (SKU: ATEX624520SS63) provides certified protection for electrical components in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous locations. Constructed from 1.5mm Type 316 stainless steel with a #4 brushed finish, this enclosure resists corrosion from chemicals, salt spray, and high humidity. It features a 2.0mm galvanized steel mounting plate, full-width welded wall-mounting brackets, and internal weld studs for panel or DIN rail mounting. The continuous perimeter gasket and Type 316 stainless steel cover screws ensure IP66 and Type 4X protection against dust and water ingress. Certified to ATEX Directive 2014/35/EU, IECEx, and AEx standards for increased safety (Ex e), it supports operating temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (with optional silicone gasket extending to -55°C to +180°C).
