The nVent ZonEx ATEX/IECEx-Certified Type 4X Enclosure (SKU: ATEX503520SS61) is a rugged, stainless steel solution for hazardous industrial environments. Fabricated from 1.5mm Type 316L stainless steel with a 320-grain brushed finish, this enclosure delivers superior corrosion resistance and durability in demanding applications. Its 500x350x205mm dimensions provide ample internal space for electrical components, while the one-piece continuous gasket ensures IP66-rated protection against dust and water ingress. Certified for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous locations under ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and IECEx standards (Ex e IIC Gb, Ex tb IIIC Db), this enclosure meets NEMA/EEMAC Type 4, 4X, and 12 requirements. The enclosure includes M6 brass internal/external bonding provisions, full-width welded wall-mounting brackets, and internal weld nuts for panel or DIN rail mounting. A 2.0mm galvanized steel mounting plate provides a sturdy foundation for internal equipment. Operating from -40°C to +70°C with a standard polyurethane gasket (or -55°C to +180°C with an optional silicone gasket), the ATEX503520SS61 is ideal for oil and gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and mining industries.
