This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling and wiring the AMOD8418FEP modular enclosure, ensuring proper installation and functionality.

Screwdriver, Wrench, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Lockwashers, Nuts, Gasket kit, Connecting rods, Rod clips
- Position the enclosures
Arrange the modular enclosures about 1/2 inch apart, ensuring the master disconnect enclosure is positioned at the far right.
- Install the gasket
Place the gasket between the enclosures with the three-inch wide end at the top and the large hole facing the front. Ensure it is aligned properly.
- Secure the enclosures
Install screws through the sides of the enclosures and through the gasket. Add lockwashers and nuts, then tighten them to compress the gasket evenly.
- Attach the end plate
Position the end plate on the side of the far left enclosure. Install screws through the side of the enclosure and the end plate, then tighten with lockwashers and nuts.
- Connect the interlock mechanism
Loosen the set screw on the horizontal threaded rod above the master door. Slide the rod through the hole between enclosures and thread it into the connector bracket of the adjoining enclosure.
- Test the interlock operation
Close the master door to activate the interlock. Attempt to open each slave door; they should remain locked. Open the master door to deactivate the interlock and check functionality.
