Overview

The Woodhead Y560CF (SKU: Y560CF) is a 60 Amp Safeway® Pin & Sleeve Exposition Connector designed for reliable power connectivity in industrial and temporary event settings. This 4 Pole/5 Wire grounding device features deadfront construction for enhanced safety and a self-adjusting split contact sleeve system with a nickel-plated steel spring to maintain constant pressure and ensure electrical continuity. Its latching mechanism prevents accidental disengagement, while the keyway facilitates quick, accurate alignment. The integrated internal strain relief with a “swing away” feature and external strain relief minimize cable bending arcs, extending cable life. Meeting IEC 309-1 and 309-2 standards, it boasts an IP44 environmental rating, protecting against solid objects and splashing water. Large, identified terminals accommodate conductors one or two sizes larger or smaller than normal, and the “onion ring” neoprene bushing in the cable grip supports a wide range of cable sizes. Applications include temporary power systems for trade shows, concerts, festivals, and power disconnects for portable processing equipment. It is also suitable for machinery intended for export or use with foreign-built equipment. Physical specifications include brass pins, polycarbonate housing, and insert. This connector is designed for flat cable.
