Overview

The Woodhead WA5000-31 is a 5-pole, straight female M12 connector featuring the Ultra-Lock® push-to-lock technology for secure and reliable connections in industrial settings. This connector is designed for demanding environments, offering IP67/IP68/IP69K ratings and NEMA 6 protection, making it suitable for wash-down and temporary submersion applications. The integrated PG7 cable fitting accommodates cable diameters from 3.30mm to 6.60mm. The Ultra-Lock® system ensures fast, positive locking, crucial for high-vibration applications and preventing accidental disconnections. Its construction includes a PUR connector body, Viton® O-rings, and gold over nickel plated copper alloy contacts for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The nickel-plated brass coupling nut ensures durability. This 5-pole configuration is intermatable with 3- and 4-pole versions, offering design flexibility. Applications include industrial automation, robotics, sensor/actuator connections, and machine building.
