Its heavy-duty construction, featuring a cast aluminum body with yellow powder coat finish, is built to withstand harsh conditions. The reel is equipped with a substantial 4lb. retraction weight, ensuring smooth and controlled cord retrieval, preventing entanglement and reducing damage. It includes 15.24m (50.0') of 12/8 SOW (Stranded Oil-Resistant) cable, providing ample reach with a 600V rating. The inclusion of flying leads allows for quick and flexible integration into existing power systems. Designed for industrial duty, this reel is ideal for manufacturing, automotive repair, construction, maintenance facilities, and heavy equipment operations. The 12/8 SOW cable jacket offers resistance to oils and abrasions. Key features include NEMA 4 rating for protection against water and dust, an adjustable cable guide for precise configuration, and a design that prohibits "lock-out" when the cable is fully extended. The containerized main spring allows for safe and simple handling and replacement. Reels are constructed with spring tension to lift or stretch cable with no more than 10% sag. The collector ring is rated for 30A. Primary cord entry is 1" NPT. The working end features flying leads; a ball stop is not included. The ratchet lock is easily disengaged as needed, and tension is easily adjusted. A large, easy-access junction box is also present.
