The Woodhead Watertite® Receptacle (SKU: 69W83) is a NEMA L23-30, 4-pole/5-wire locking receptacle rated for 30A at 600V in 3-phase applications. Designed for wet and harsh environments, this receptacle meets NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12 ratings, as well as IEC IP55, IP56, IP57, IP65, IP66, and IP67 standards. The unit features a single flip coverplate for easy access and protection against contaminants, with a locking blade mechanism to prevent accidental disconnections in demanding industrial settings. Key construction details include a nickel-plated brass plug blade and connector contacts, NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber grommet, stainless steel face screws, and a nylon face insert. The Lexan® coverplate and closure caps provide impact resistance and durability. The receptacle supports a maximum continuous operating temperature of 75°C and a minimum of -40°C, with a maximum temperature rise of 30°C at full rated current after 50 cycles of 150% overload at 75% power factor.
