The Woodhead Watertite® Male Plug Receptacle, SKU 64W34, is engineered for robust performance in wet and demanding industrial environments. This receptacle features a NEMA L7-15 configuration, rated for 15A and 277V, with a 2-Pole/3-Wire (2P+G) setup for essential grounding. Its Watertite® design ensures superior protection against contaminants, including vapor and water from high-pressure washdowns up to 1000psi. The locking blade mechanism prevents accidental disconnections, crucial for maintaining continuous power flow in high-vibration or high-traffic areas. An integrated flip coverplate provides additional protection for the connection when not in use, safeguarding against dust and debris. Constructed with NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber for the outer housing and grommet, nickel-plated brass for blades and contacts, and Lexan* for the coverplate, this receptacle offers exceptional durability. The face screws are captive, tri-drive stainless steel for easy assembly and longevity. Wire screw terminals are tri-drive, accommodating straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers, and feature a transparent wiring guide for verification. Floating blade construction ensures self-alignment and a secure mechanical and electrical connection, minimizing wear and heat generation. This receptacle meets NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12 ratings, and IEC IP55, 56, 57, 65, 66, and 67 ratings. Operating temperature range is from -40°C to a maximum continuous 75°C. UL File No. E68122 and CSA File No. LR6837. Ideal for food and beverage processing, general industrial use, and oil and gas sectors where reliable, protected power is paramount.
