The Woodhead 5632M MAX-LOC®/Watertite® Cord Grip (SKU 5632M) provides reliable cable entry and strain relief for industrial applications. This straight male cord grip features a 1/2" NPT threaded body for secure mounting into enclosures, junction boxes, and control cabinets. Its F2 body size is optimized for a cable diameter range of 10.92mm to 12.70mm (0.430" to 0.500"), ensuring a precise fit. Constructed with a durable nylon body, it offers resistance to impact and corrosion. The integrated rubber grommet creates a liquid-tight seal, protecting against moisture, dust, and contaminants, while also reducing cord pull-out. This grommet material is formulated for wide temperature range and chemical resistance. The MAX-LOC®/Watertite® series is designed for ease of installation. The 1/2" NPT straight male thread facilitates integration into standard fittings. For enhanced environmental sealing, it can achieve a NEMA 6P rating when used with an O-ring and locknut, offering protection against submersion. Without these accessories, it provides a NEMA 3R rating, suitable for outdoor use against falling rain. The product is UL File No. E76954 and CSA File No. LR32159 listed. It is suitable for Class I, Division 2; Class II, Division 1 and 2; and Class III, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations.
