How to Install the Woodhead MAX-LOC 5577 Strain Relief Grip
Step-by-step guide for installing the 90° angle male strain relief cord-sealing grip.
Estimated time: 15m
Tools needed:
Wrench, Screwdriver (if needed for enclosure)
Supplies needed:
Woodhead MAX-LOC 5577, Compatible O-ring (if NEMA 6P rating required), Compatible Locknut (if NEMA 6P rating required), Enclosure or mounting surface
- Prepare the cable
Ensure the cable diameter is within the specified range of 31.75–34.42mm (1.250–1.355"). If necessary, strip the cable jacket for clearance.
- Thread the grip onto the enclosure
Screw the 1-1/4" NPT threaded end of the MAX-LOC 5577 into the desired enclosure, cabinet, or control panel opening. Hand-tighten initially.
