Overview

The Woodhead MAX-LOC® 5539M is a 90° angle male strain relief cord-sealing grip designed for robust cable protection and environmental sealing in industrial applications. The construction includes a durable nylon body resistant to impact and corrosion, a rubber grommet for a liquid-tight seal and reduced cord pull-out, and a stainless steel mesh collar for high strength and corrosion resistance. The stainless steel mesh is a half double weave, half single weave type, providing excellent cable protection and pull-out resistance. This MAX-LOC® grip offers a liquid-tight rating and is suitable for NEMA 6P enclosures when used with the correct NPT-sized O-ring. Hazardous location ratings include Class I, Division 2; Class II, Division 1 and 2; and Class III, Division 1 and 2. The product is UL recognized under File No. E76954 and CSA certified under File No. LR32159.
