Overview

The Woodhead Safeway® Plug (SKU 26T48) is a 2-pole, 3-wire industrial locking plug rated for 250V and 20A, conforming to NEMA L6-20 standards. Constructed with durable nylon, this plug features a locking blade mechanism to ensure secure connections and prevent accidental disconnections, critical for maintaining operational uptime in industrial settings. The plug's tri-drive head stainless steel speed screw facilitates easy assembly, while the two-piece cord-clamp strain relief firmly secures the cord. Its nickel-plated brass blades and contacts provide reliable electrical conductivity. The floating blade construction ensures self-alignment, minimizing wear and heat generation for longer service life. A transparent wiring guide verifies all wire strands are properly seated before securing. Color-coded ¼" terminal screws are pre-set in the open position for quick wiring. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 75°C with a maximum 30°C temperature rise at full rated current after 50 overload cycles. UL recognized (File No. E10176) and CSA certified (File No. LR6837).
