The Watertite Extreme series is trusted for its exceptional performance in extreme conditions, making it a preferred choice for professionals who require high-quality electrical components. Constructed with a NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber outer housing and grommet, this connector offers superior resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures, operating continuously up to 75° C and down to -40° C without impact. The plug blades and connector contacts are nickel-plated brass for corrosion resistance, while stainless steel face screws and a nylon face insert contribute to its longevity. The wire saddle clamp is brass, ensuring a secure connection. The Lexan* receptacle coverplate and closure caps provide additional protection. This connector meets stringent environmental NEMA ratings including 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12, as well as IEC ratings of IP55, 56, 57, 65, 66, and 67, making it suitable for high-pressure washdowns up to 1000psi. It is designed for a maximum 30° C temperature rise at full rated current after 50 cycles of overload at 150% of rated current with a 75% power factor. The F2 body size accommodates cords for secure strain relief. Manufactured in the US, this connector is built for demanding environments where performance and safety are paramount.
