Overview

The Woodhead Super-Safeway® Connector (SKU 1547) is a 2-pole/3-wire NEMA 5-15 electrical connector rated at 125V, designed for reliable power distribution in industrial and commercial environments. Its 2-pole configuration supports balanced power distribution with live, neutral, and ground conductors, meeting stringent safety requirements for high-current applications. The connector features a NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber body for abrasion, chemical, and temperature resistance, or a rugged nylon housing for enhanced durability. Color-coded ¼" terminal screws (pre-set open) accept straight blade, Phillips, or square-drive screwdrivers, while floating blade construction ensures self-alignment for better electrical/mechanical connections. A transparent wiring guide verifies wire strand placement, and a captive stainless steel speed screw enables easy assembly. The two-piece cord-clamp strain relief with tri-drive screws secures cables firmly. Rated for a maximum continuous operating temperature of 75°C and minimum of -40°C, this connector is UL File No. E10176 and CSA File No. LR6837 compliant.
