The GL series power supplies accept a universal input voltage range of 85-264 Vac and 120-300 Vdc, with the GL50 model having a slightly different DC range of 127-300 Vdc.

The operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C ambient at full power. Derated operation is possible up to 70°C, with a 2.5% derating per degree from 50°C.

All models feature automatic overvoltage protection and overload protection. Short circuit protection is provided on all outputs.

The GL series power supplies have extensive safety approvals including UL 60950, CUL/CSA-C22.2 No. 234-M90, UL 60950-1, CSA C22.2 CSA 60950-1, IEC60950-1, EN60950, cRUus, and CE Mark (LVD).

The GL series power supplies come with a two-year limited warranty.

Mounting holes M1 and M2 should be grounded for EMI purposes. M1 also serves as the safety ground connection.

The demonstrated MTBF is greater than 550,000 hours at full load and 25°C ambient conditions.

Mating connectors are available in kits like #70-841-006 and #70-841-005, which include specific Molex part numbers for AC input, DC outputs, and remote sense.

The power supplies are designed for operating in non-condensing humidity conditions up to 95% RH.

Remote sense compensates for a minimum 0.5 V lead drop. The unit will operate without remote sense connected and is protected against reverse connections.
