Phillips screwdriver, Socket (11/32) for hex nuts
Supplies needed:
FWMHSS-CG613 cable gland, Incoming Cable Plate, Mounting nuts, Heat shrink tubing
- Prepare the enclosure
Remove the plastic plug from the designated cutout on the enclosure where the cable gland will be installed.
- Install the cable gland
Insert the FWMHSS-CG613 cable gland into the cutout and secure it by tightening the nut against the enclosure.
- Attach the Incoming Cable Plate
Align the Incoming Cable Plate with the cable gland and secure it using the mounting nuts from the side or top/bottom cover plates.
- Strip and prepare the cable
Strip off the outer cable jacket of the incoming fiber cable to expose at least 20 feet of fiber for routing within the enclosure.
- Secure the cable
