Overview

The NSI Industries RSR-518 aluminum cord grip provides reliable cable strain relief and liquid-tight sealing for industrial applications. Designed with a 1-1/2" NPT threaded body, this cord grip accommodates cable diameters between 1.00" and 1.125" (25.40–28.58mm), making it ideal for medium-duty power and control cables. Constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminum with a stainless steel mesh collar, the RSR-518 ensures long-term durability in both indoor and outdoor environments. The 50% double-weave mesh construction enhances pull-out resistance and cable protection, while the liquid-tight seal (Type 3R without O-ring, Type 6P with O-ring/locknut) meets NEMA 4 enclosure requirements. Certified to UL File No. E76954 and CSA File No. LR32159, this cord grip is suitable for hazardous locations including Class I, Division 2; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2. The gray nylon compression nut, white nylon washer, rubber grommet, and neoprene O-ring provide a secure, vibration-resistant connection. Compatible with MAX-LOC® accessories for enhanced sealing, the RSR-518 is distributed by Gross Automation and backed by NSI Industries' engineering standards.
