Overview

The NSI Industries HOS-M PIR High Bay Occupancy Sensor delivers precise motion-activated lighting control for large industrial and commercial spaces. Operating at 120/277V AC, this line-voltage sensor covers up to 1200 sq ft, making it ideal for warehouses, tall aisles, equipment rooms, and storage spaces with high ceilings. Its passive infrared (PIR) technology detects occupancy up to 30 feet in all directions, ensuring lights activate only when needed. Factory-programmable features include Auto On/Off, energy-saving Walk Through mode, and Test mode for installation verification. Users can select time delays from 5 to 30 minutes (default 10 minutes) and enable a 2-minute flash warning before shutdown. The HOS-M supports tungsten, electronic ballast (LED), and motor loads up to 800W (tungsten), 1000W (120V LED), 1500W (230V LED), 1800W (277V LED), and 1/4 HP motors. Inrush current limiting and zero-cross switching protect relay contacts for extended reliability. Mounting options include direct-to-box, ceiling, or optional pendant/side mounting with a ½" threaded nipple. Operating from 32°F to 131°F (0°C to 55°C), the HOS-M is cULus certified and backed by a 5-year warranty. NSI Industries, a trusted US manufacturer, ensures compliance with commercial lighting control standards.
