The NSI Industries 8400-HS is an 8-inch UV Black Heat Stabilized Cable Tie, engineered for superior performance in high-temperature applications, including automotive environments. The UV black coloration ensures excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation, preventing premature embrittlement and failure when exposed to sunlight or other UV sources. They are also fungus-resistant, self-extinguishing, and possess excellent dielectric properties. The operating temperature range for these cable ties is from a minimum of -40°F to a maximum of 185°F (-40°C to 85°C). Ideal storage conditions are 23°C with 50% humidity, avoiding proximity to warm objects. These cable ties are cULus Listed for Positioning Devices (UL62275) and are Type 21 AH-2 rated, making them suitable for use in air-handling spaces (Plenums).
