This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Mighty-Seal™ Push-EMT™ Connector for use with Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) in wet locations.

Supplies needed:

Mighty-Seal™ Push-EMT™ Connector, Knockout gasket, Locknut

  1. Prepare the EMT

    Cut the EMT squarely and remove all burrs using a reaming/deburring tool to ensure an evenly chamfered outer edge.

  2. Install the connector

    Firmly push the Mighty-Seal™ Push-EMT™ Connector onto the EMT until it reaches the conduit stop, ensuring not to rotate the EMT more than a quarter turn.

  3. Secure the fitting

    Remove the serrated locknut and position the knockout gasket on the outside of the enclosure. Insert the fitting into the knockout and tighten the locknut hand-tight plus a quarter turn.
