Supplies needed:
Mighty-Seal™ Push-EMT™ Connector, Knockout gasket, Locknut
- Prepare the EMT
Cut the Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) squarely and remove all burrs using a reaming/deburring tool to ensure a smooth outer edge.
- Install the connector
Firmly push the Mighty-Seal™ Push-EMT™ Connector onto the EMT until it reaches the conduit stop, ensuring not to rotate the EMT more than a quarter turn.
- Secure the fitting
Remove the serrated locknut and position the knockout gasket on the outside of the enclosure. Insert the fitting into the knockout and tighten the locknut hand-tight plus a quarter turn.
