Overview

The NSI Industries 242-DCSLP (SKU: 242-DCSLP) is a 1" EMT slip coupling set screw designed to slide along conduit for secure connections in tight spaces. This patented fitting eliminates the need for conduit threading, significantly reducing installation time on racked runs and complex conduit layouts. Constructed from hardened steel with an electro zinc plated and chromate-coated finish, it meets UL (E-23018), CSA (LR-2884/LR-4484), and NFPA standards for code compliance. The coupling includes a nylon insulator that reduces wire-pulling effort by up to 50%, enhancing efficiency during installation and maintenance. Ideal for industrial, commercial, and utility applications, this coupling provides a reliable, code-compliant conduit joint without threading. The set screw design ensures a positive holding strength and ground, while the insulated throat minimizes friction for smoother wire pulling. Compatible with 1" EMT conduit, this product is manufactured in the US and distributed by Gross Automation.
