Overview

The Mersen SKU 60312 is a 2-pole fuse block designed for 600VAC and 600VDC applications, accommodating Class H and K fuses rated at 30A. This model features screw connectors suitable for copper wire with a range of #10 to #14 AWG. The insulator is constructed from molded glass-filled polycarbonate (GFPC), offering verified dielectric strength exceeding 2500V. Fuse blocks from Mersen are engineered to accommodate all Class H, K, and R 250 and 600V power fuses. The selection of connector types, including screw, pressure plate, and box, ensures compatibility with a wide range of stranded or solid copper or aluminum wire. All fuse clips are manufactured from high-conductivity tin-plated copper. For 30A and 60A blocks, a choice between spring-reinforced and non-spring-reinforced clips is available, while clips for 100A and above are spring-reinforced. The 30A, 60A, and 100A fuse blocks incorporate a unique adder block feature, allowing for the creation of multi-pole segmented blocks by snapping onto 1-, 2-, or 3-pole configurations, enabling customization to desired pole counts. These fuse blocks meet or exceed OEM "no aluminum" specifications when used with copper wire, due to their copper connectors and clips designed for improved heat cycling. Recommended mounting screws for this 30A fuse block are 1/4" (.250" dia.).
