Littelfuse TDS120AL - The TSD2 Series is designed for more demanding commercial and industrial applications where small size and accurate performance are required. The factory calibration for fixed time delays is within 1% of the target time delay. The repeat accuracy, under stable conditions, is 0.1% of the time delay. The TSD Series is rated to operate over an extended temperature range. Time delays of 0.1 seconds to 100 hours are available. The output is rated 1A steady and 10A inrush. The modules are totally solid state and encapsulated to protect the electronic circuitry. Operation (Interval): Upon application of input voltage, the time delay begins. The output is energized during the time delay. At the end of the time delay, the output de-energizes and remains de-energized until input voltage is removed. Reset: Removing input voltage resets the time delay and output.

Overview

The Littelfuse TSD120AL, part of the TSD2 Series, is a compact, solid-state interval timer designed for precise timing control in demanding commercial and industrial applications. This microcontroller-based unit offers exceptional accuracy, with factory calibration within ±1% of the target time delay and repeat accuracy of ±0.1% or 20ms (whichever is greater) under stable conditions. The TSD120AL supports a wide time delay range from 0.1 seconds to 100 hours, available in 7 adjustable ranges or fixed settings. It operates on input voltages of 24, 120, or 230VAC (±20% tolerance) at 50/60 Hz, consuming less than 2VA. The solid-state output is rated for 1A steady-state and 10A inrush at 60°C, providing a typical operational life of 100 million cycles. Its encapsulated design protects the electronic circuitry against shock, vibration, and humidity up to 95% non-condensing, while offering dielectric breakdown resistance of ≥ 2000V RMS between terminals and the mounting surface. Operating reliably across an extended temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, the TSD120AL is ideal for process control, motor sequencing, lighting control, and HVAC systems where accurate, repeatable timing is critical. The interval operation energizes the output during the time delay and de-energizes upon completion, resetting only when input voltage is removed. Measuring 50.8mm x 50.8mm x 30.7mm and weighing approximately 68g, it mounts via a single #10 screw and terminates with 0.25in (6.35mm) male quick-connect terminals. Compatible accessories for remote adjustment include the Versa-Pot potentiometer (P1004-95) and Versa-Knob (P0700-7).
