Overview

The Hammond Power QC25ERCB Buck-Boost Transformer (SKU: QC25ERCB) is designed for single-phase industrial applications requiring precise voltage adjustment. This unit features a 120x240 Volt primary and a 12x24 Volt secondary, enabling flexible voltage conversion. Constructed with a welded core using high-quality silicon steel laminations and computer-designed coils wound from high-grade copper magnetic wire, the QC25ERCB ensures efficient operation. All units are encapsulated with electrical grade silica sand and resin compounds for enhanced durability and protection. The heavy-duty encapsulated Type 3R enclosure is standard, with optional Type 4, 4X (stainless), and 12 enclosures available. Terminations are front-accessible, with separate high and low voltage lead wires. Conduit knock-outs are standard on the sides and rear of most units. The QC series transformers are UL Listed (File: E50394) and CSA Certified (File: LR3902), operating at 50/60 Hz with a 130°C insulation system (80°C rise). This transformer is ideal for applications where minor voltage adjustments are needed to optimize equipment performance and longevity, such as motor control, power supplies, and lighting systems. Manufactured in the USA.
