The ABB HUB400GR-SC is a 4-inch zinc conduit hub designed for Rigid and IMC conduit applications, offering superior sealing and grounding capabilities. Manufactured by ABB Installation Products, this hub (SKU: HUB400GR-SC) is engineered for reliable termination of conduits into enclosures or boxes, ensuring exceptional watertight performance. Its innovative design features a captive sealing ring, made of nitrile rubber, which is secured in place before installation, preventing buckling or slipping and providing a complete 360° seal, even when the conduit is not perfectly perpendicular to the enclosure. The seal groove is optimized for maximum compression of the sealing ring. The locknut boasts peripheral slots and a hexagonal/angled spline spaced every 30°, facilitating easy torque application with a wrench or hammer and screwdriver. Sharper and deeper teeth on both the locknut and the hub body ensure a more penetrating bite for improved bonding to the enclosure. The hexagonal/splined body design allows for fast and straightforward installation. Precision-machined tapered threads are incorporated to create a watertight union. The insulated throat is molded from 105°C-rated thermoplastic with a UL94-V0 flammability rating, offering enhanced safety and protection. This hub conforms to UL514B and is UL E3060 listed, meeting NEMA sealing requirements for NEMA 3R, 4, and 13 enclosures. The robust zinc body construction ensures durability in industrial environments. The HUB400GR-SC is manufactured in the USA.
