This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the AFM-6S2-GRY Access Floor Module, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Caulk or sealant, Petroleum jelly
- Cut the hole for the module
Cut a hole in the raised panel according to the dimensions of the AFM-6S2 (7-15/16" x 10").
- Install the AFH Bracket
Place the AFH Bracket in the center of the cutout opening and fold the legs around the edge to secure it tightly against the floor panel.
- Apply sealant
Before lowering the AFM-6S2 into the hole, apply caulk or sealant to the underside of the Carpet Flange to prevent water entry.
- Lower the module
Carefully lower the AFM-6S2 into the cut hole and attach conduit as required to meet wiring needs and comply with National Electrical Code.
- Secure the module
Install 1-1/8" long screws to engage the bracket and secure the AFM-6S2 in place.
- Condition the gaskets
Apply a light coating of petroleum jelly to the gaskets on the Cord Door and Carpet Flange to keep them supple and prevent water entry.
- Connect wiring
Open the cover of the AFM-6S2 and attach the device(s) as required, ensuring all wiring is installed in accordance with National Electrical Code and local codes.
- Close the module
Close the cover of the AFM-6S2, ensuring that the Cord Door is open to route any electrical or data cords.
