How to Install the 665-CST-M-BLK Metallic Cover
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the 665-CST-M-BLK metallic cover on a 665 Series Floor Box.

Clear silicone sealant, Mounting screws with O-rings
- Prepare the floor covering
Trim the floor covering to the dimensions specified in Figure 1, ensuring a 3/16” to 1/4” gap around the edge of the floor box.
- Apply sealant
Apply clear silicone sealant between the flange and the floor covering as shown in Figures 2a or 2b, depending on the type of floor covering.
- Secure the cover
Lift the lid of the cover and lay it to the side. Insert the screws with O-rings through the cover into the threaded holes in the metal floor box. Tighten the screws until the heads and O-rings make contact with the cover, then secure by tightening an additional 1-1/2 turns.
